GREAT FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE

Sooooo dang good!

This is one of my Favorite dining out establishments. A Sumptuous Buffet complete with baked and crispy fried chicken, baked and fried fish, Salisbury Steak smothered in tasty brown gravy.Creamy mashed potatoes, steamed rice, macaroni and cheese, Italian green beans, boiled cabbage and other savory dishes. And peach cobbler, brownies and ice cream for deserts!! All for a reasonable price. And Great Service, too!!Recommended!!

Just very bad. Don't eat the hamburger steak unless u want to get sick. The food has no taste at all. Fish was nasty. Mac and cheese has a weird taste. -10 rating and I think the rating should be an F. Just a heads up if you go eat there. That's is being generous with my rating. If u feel like getting food poison take your chances at this place. I cannot believe anyone would give Country buffet a good rating. Nasty

Well we were going to Apple bees and see this place decided to try. Well we should have stick to our first plan. This place food is awful. The food didn't have a taste to it, everything tasted plan. The mac & cheese tasted like paste. The Salisbury steak tasted like something out of a mud pile. peach cobbler didn't look inviting but decide to try. it didn't taste like a peach cobbler no crusts it tasted like a hot mess. I would not recommend this place never going back. The only good thing about this place was waitress she was very nice that's the only reason why I gave you one star.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, our go to place for lunch or supper! Delicious food, great selection, superb service, and all of this topped off with fantastic prices! You won't be disappointed!

Love the new CLEAN look. The bars are a lot nicer and cleaner. The food was great, price is good. I think they offer plenty, plates are just to small, but hey you can have all you can eat. Staff was friendly and helped us put tables together when we had a group. Thinking of them tonight!

Literally this was the fastest I've been in and out a buffet. Food was terrible, little to no seasoning. You basically get what you pay for and you shouldn't even be paying the price they're asking for.

Can't get over how nasty it was. I don't think I've ever eaten something that made me nauseous that fast but today was a first. Food has no flavor and this place is the perfect example of a hole in the wall. Place was nasty looking and the food looked like something from a jail. Only 3 desserts and one of those I think was supposed to be peach cobbler. It was peaches in what looked like thick water with burnt pie crust on top. If you think the food is good here, you're best bet is to hit up a freezer section in a low budget grocery store that way you get your money's worth. Worst place in Columbus period.

Not happy at all with this place. The sausage and sauerkraut was really sliced hotdogs. Just not good food in general.

There is nothing in the aesthetics make me think "country road house." The food is overall mediocre. It's not "country cooking." It's basic American meats and veggies with very little seasonings that could classify it "country", "southern", or "soul". The best meat, surprisingly, was the fried catfish. I usually don't like fried catfish, but theirs is delicious. The baked chicken is pretty good and somewhat moist. Avoid the baked fish and salsbury steak. The veggies are define canned, but good and some are seasoned well. There's a variety of salads that taste good. If you are looking for desserts, this is not the place.

We came on a Sunday afternoon and food really sucks! I came last year before the new management and the food was nasty but I decided to give another try after hearing about new management! I gave 2 stars for the remodeled inside of the restaurant! They just need a new cook and new recipes and then they could really make good buisness!

Food and service was awesome, however they could've had more choices of meats and desserts.

Wish they offered morelow card dishes. Other than that, a great value for food brought to the buffet frequently. Not dried out.

You get set up for a interview and get everything systematically situated show up for the interview between the times scheduled for the job and the hiring manager is gone for the day in my opinion this is very unprofessional and disrespectful to people looking for employment I suggest that new management should be instilled before I return or suggest this restaurant to anyone I know personally

Relax and atmosphere was wondering and good home cooked meals

Just horrible. The chicken was definitely from the day before. Old and dry. The Mac and cheese has an odd twangy taste. The fries were stale. The tea was sour. We couldn’t even eat it. Then when I politely asked for a refund and told her I didn’t eat more than one bite of anything she still only gave me half my money back and was very rude about it

Nicely updated dining area and brighter too. Food is good and friendly staff. Prices are good for di e in or take-out.

I never post a rating but I thought I should as a public service announcement. Let’s talk about Country cooking. I grew up in the country and this is NOT country cooking. It is not cooking at ALL. It is open a can cooking. The only thing they cooked was salty fish that is really fishy. The chicken was ok. The macaroni and cheese was straight out of the box. No real dessert. Fried Green Tomatoes soggy and then went back to the bar and they had turned into fried battered sweet potatoes. WHAT? Save your 12.00. I hear an Old Times is coming to Columbus. If you get a chance to to Auburn it is WONDERFUL and well worth the drive.

Great place to eat, inexpensively. The restaurant has changed ownership. They did a big makeup, inside, now it's cleaner and looks bigger. By the way, the food tasting better and staff is happy. Great service.

Beef tips and rice are the best i must admit. Not a fan of the dessert but ill give a five star for them tips and chicken breast.

Usually not too crowded. Food and service are both pretty good. Selection is a little limited. Good southern cooking!

Truly straight from the can and freezer aisle type foods they serve here believe the reviews!! Not much flavor and semi-warm food. Luke-warm atmosphere that doesn't add to it. Just wait for Golden Corral to re-open or head to KFC buffet to satisfy your soul food craving, u have been warned.😥
